It was an extremely enjoyable experience for members of Batch 66’ of Basilan City High School, now Basilan National High School. April of every year is the choice month for this reunion and the spacious  venue in a local hotel was just perfect for the occasion on April 10, 2012. Everyone was in high spirit as they wine, dine, sung dance to music of yesteryears.

Now in their 60’s it was simply amazing to watch them gyrate with “gusto” to the sounds of a Beatles Medley. The more daring gents took center stage to jam with the band. Laughing aloud, they brought back memories of the good days in school and how they look in tight fitting low waist pants for the boys and bell button pants for the girls, the trend those days.

The fun and bonding continued the following morning in Bolong Beach resort in the east coast. A tourist attraction, the resort is famous for its exotic scenery and clean sea water safe for bathing. VICTOR TUBALLA and wife ELMA who are now based in Australia and JENNY MENDOZA, a nurse in Canada never fail to come home for this yearly gathering.

A lavish dinner culminated the 2012 reunion, the 3rd year in a row. Special credits go to former City Dad GERRY ACUÑA, Engr. PERCIVAL DANS, DR. BERT ANDRION, retired PNB Manager GEORGE RAMILLANO and GINA DONDOYANO of LTO initiating the conduct of this annual reunion. (TITA ACUÑA)
