(Sharing Time) How we hate God nay our knowing

PDFPrintE-mail

GOD feels so much neglected in these days. Why? Because of our hypocrisy to him.God abhors people who have lots of pretensions when it comes to their loving him when in truth they’re hating him without their own knowing.

WHEN we fail to obey his will, that’s equivalent to hating him, instead, for we make our own words, and not heeding to God’s words. In brief, we make our own righteousness, and not God’s righteousness, at all. And this is very dangerous, for in the last day, we’ll be judged by the same words of God, and not by our own words.

THIS was the reason why Jesus Christ, God’s only Begotten Son Jesus asked his Father in heaven, while dying on the cross at Mt. Calvary when he was put to death by the Jews more than 2,000 years ago. Let’s repeat what he uttered while in great pain: “ FATHER, FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO.”(LUKE 23:34)

MANY of our so-called believers in Jesus Christ, or called Christians, think they’re saved when in truth they are not.Listen you, brothers and sisters! “NOT EVERYONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.” (MATTHEW 7:21).

THEN MANY WILL SAY UNTO THE LORD: “MANY WILL TO ME IN THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT PROPHESIED IN THY NAME? AND IN THAT HAVE CAST OUT  DEVILS? AND IN THY NAME DONE WONDERFUL WORKS? AND THEN WILL I PROFESS UNTO HIM: I NEVER KNEW YOU, DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.”(MATTHEW 7:22—23).

IT warns us that gravely that only by doing his will can save us in the last days.

Prophesizing, casting demons and even doing wonderful works aren’t enough to save us, but only by doing and obeying his words will save us in the end.

EVEN if we accurately memorize what are written all in the Holy Scriptures isn’t enough. The big question mark is this, “Did you obey what you’ve completely memorized in the Scriptures?” That means memorization is not the basis for our own Eternal Salvation. Still, Obedience to God’s will only, can save us on Judgment Day.

TODAY is Sunday (AUG. 13), AND THIS IS Sharing Time.  (By Jun Feliciano) (30)
