Jomar reacts to Nuno statement

Jomar Lobregat said heading a local party is not a hindrance to his plan in running for District II Congressman.
Lobregat said, “I head a local party, el Adelenate Zamboanga Party. Hinde ese hindrance para core na Congreso. Ta pensa iyo importante el partido, pero mas importante el candidato.”

This was his reaction on the earlier statement of Councilor Lilia Nuño that Jomar chairs the Adelante Zamboanga Party and he is not a member of the Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP) and there is a possibility he can’t be chosen. 
He added, “Si mira quita, the last election we had a coalition LDP, Liberal Party, and Nationalista Party. Importante el party but it is something pwede quita man decide luego.”

Lobregat also stressed that the Congressional seat in District II for 2013 will be officially vacant as Congressman Erbie Fabian who holds the position is now on his third term.

“Ese position del Congressman na District II in the next election 2013, nuay se incumbent. Whether what party you belong to, there is no equity of the incumbent. That is the reason why quiere iyo entra.” Lobregat said.

Right now according to Lobregat, he is continuing his consultations in the different barangays.
He also revealed that since 2004, he already have plans to run for Congress. “I tried in 2004 when my mother passed away, the barangay captains were asking me to run and then because Erbie also wanted to run for congress, so we have to give in. In 2007, akel cuando there was a second district, I was preparing to run unfortunately I got sick and I had to take care of my health.”

Jomar Lobregat said in case he makes it, he will focus on how to give good education, good opportunity, available jobs and to bring up the standard of living of the Zamboangueños.
