3 killed in Lamitan robbery

Unidentified gunmen riding-in-tandem on three single motorcycles shot and killed three persons during a robbery at an establishment in Lamitan City, Basilan, police said.
Killed were identified as Cedric Lisama, Allan Obana, and Antonio Mc Clintock. The incident took place at Sayugan in Barangay Maligaya around 7:00 a.m. Thursday.
It was learned from the Lamitan City Police Station the suspects armed with M-16 rifles on board three single motorcycles in tandem shot the victims killing them instantly.
A sketchy report reaching Zamboanga Today also disclosed an estimated half a million peso cash placed inside a drawer of the cashier was taken away by the robbers.
A certain Nico, one of the the victims' companion escaped when the suspects opened fire at victims and carried out the robbery at the establishment.
Police are continuing their investigation to identify the identity of the suspects.
