A suspected drug pusher was arrested by narcotics operatives and personnel of Vitali Police Station during the buy-bust operation in Barangay Tagasilay, this city, last Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, personnel of Zamboanga City Public Safety Company (ZCPSC) backed by police narcotic operatives held another suspected drug pusher at Betty 1 Drive, Barangay Sta. Catalina.

Vitali Police Station commander Sr. Inspector Joel Tuttuh identified the arrested drug suspect in Tagasilay as Ibin Siddik y Jaypuddin, of legal age, and a resident in Barangay Tagasilay.

Tuttuh said they confiscated 4 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu and the 4 pieces P100 mark money bill from the Siddik's possession and direct control.

The arrested drug suspect in Barangay Sta. Catalina was identified as Jamal Jadjuli, 38, married, and a resident of the said place.

ZCPSC commander Superintendent William Gadayan said 1 small and one medium size head-sealed plastic sachet allegedly containing shabu and the 3 pieces of P100 mark money bill were recovered from Jadjuli's possession and direct control.

Authorities said the arrested drug suspects in two separate locations were presently detained at the police station.

The confiscated illegal drug items were forwarded to the Regional Crime Laboratory Office 9 (RCLO9) for quantitative and qualitative examination.

The suspects will be charged in court for violation R.A. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
