The Zamboanga City Water District conducted a mid-term review of its Strategic Plan 2010-2014 at the T.C. Araneta Regional Training Center at Pasonanca last August 1, 2012.

The activity was a follow-up review on the water district’s performance vis-à-vis its operational plan. It was designed to identify actual accomplishments and relevance of the activities in terms of addressing internal and external concerns and achieving the strategic goals.

The activity also spelled out how far the water utility accomplished its planned projects and activities taking into consideration institutional relationships between and among the two major operating units.

The midterm review, participated in by all division and department managers, was facilitated by the Division Manager for Management Services - Fernando R. Camba. AGM Alejo S. Rojas, Jr. (Operations Group) and AGM Roberto R. Mendoza (Finance and Administration Group) served as panel of reactors.

Each department presented their respective physical accomplishments and highlighted implementation issues such as those affecting on-time and successful completion of planned programs, projects and activities.

Along with the accomplishments, all department managers were also requested to identify strategic actions for implementation until end of December 2014 taking into account their responsiveness to the identified issues.

GM Leonardo Rey D. Vasquez enjoined all participants to employ constructive approach in assessing the office’ performance and come up with a well thought actions to hasten implementation of projects and activities and improving delivery of services to the consumers for the rest of the plan period.
