20-yr-old youngster commits suicide?

Using his own belt, a 20-year-old depressed youngster allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree Thursday night in Barangay Lumbangan, this city.
Alfie Galando, single, and a resident of Lumbangan, was found by his father Jesus Galando Jr. hanging on a gemelina tree with his own belt on his neck.
The father said it was around 6 a.m. when he went to pasture the cow about 100 meters away from their residence that he saw his son dead hanging from the tree.
He disclosed his son applied for employment as a merchandiser in one of the companies in this city and was supposed to start his job on August 1, 2012.
"An employee of the City Health Office disapproved the giving of the health ID to my son, citing the company his son was applying has no license to recruit employees," said Galando.
“Ya saca ya era kun mi anak para trabaha como merchandiser pero ya bolbe ele ayer (Wednesday) bien maluya gayot. Ya abla ele cun su nana kay malas daw hinde le puede trabaha kay nu quiere daw dale ID cunele el city health cay el compania ta saca conele para trabaha hinde daw lisenciao,” the father recalled.
Thed mother of the victim identified as Elizabeth also disclosed that his son was so depressed when he left the house in the afternoon.
“Pensaba iyo ya anda lang ele huga basketball pero nuway mas man bira asta denoche,” she said.
The body of the victim was immediately taken to the Villa Funeral Parlor for post mortem examination and embalming.
The Divisoria police disclosed they are still conducting further investigation on the case to determine if there was any foul play.
