Agan wishes Fabian well

“I wish him well.”
This was the quick reply of Councilor Rommel Agan when asked to comment on the announcement of Congressman Erbie Fabian to run for the mayoralty post in the May 2013 elections.
Agan, chairman of the local PDP Laban in Zamboanga City, said it is an entirely different thing if he will join Fabian’s slate in the coming polls.
“We have our own PDP Laban in this city and as chairman of the party I am still waiting for whatever decision our party will decide and other details,” Agan said.
He said there are so many possibilities such as forming their own party slates, maybe adopting candidates from other parties, coalescing with other parties. "These are options but not final,” Agan stressed.
“I am close to Erbie because he was the ring bearer when my parents got married while Congresswoman Beng Climaco is my schoolmate during our college days. I wish both of them well,” Agan said.
However, at the moment, Agan clearly emphasized that at present the PDP Laban in the city is not supporting any candidates of other parties.
