Zamboanga City Mayoral aspirant Romeo "Nonong" Jalosjos has showed its solidarity with the people of Tetuan as he joined the barangay's 149th fiesta celebration in honor of St. Iganacius of Loyola Parish.

Wearing an apple green T-shirt bearing the name of his group Zamboanguenos for Transformation of Zamboanga (ZTZ), Jalosjos and his mother attended the feast day mass event at the Tetuan' San Ignacio De Loyola church, officiated by Rev. Msgr. Crisologo B. Manongas, the pastoral administrator.

ZTZ is a group that Jalosjos has formed to help him in his mayoral ambition in Zamboanga City in the May 2013 elections. It is battlecry that outlines the 25-point agenda of the former congressman of Zamboanga del Norte that will enhance development and stable peace and order in the City.

Jalosjos' vice mayoral bet Mercy Arquiza and other partymates headed by congressional aspirants Mannix Dalipe of District 2 and Monsi dela Cruz of District 1 also attended the feast day mass.

Jalosjos and his mother then proceeded to a cemetery in Barangay San Roque to visit the grave of her father, Dominador L. Jalosjos Sr. who died in June 1, 1990.

After a prayer and lighting candles for his late father at San Roque cemetery, Jalosjos immediately left to his mothers home along Cabato Road in Barangay Tetuan, where they offered food to fiesta celebrants and invited guests.

The Tetuan feast day mass was sponsored by Parish Pastoral Council, Barangay Council, all organizations, movements, devotions, apostoletes, chapels, BECS of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, all schools, benefactors and parishioners as well as choir led by Cantor Ministry Choir.

The Tetuan fiesta was also highlighted with marriage validation seminar - July 21; confirmation - July 27 at 9:00 a.m.; mass wedding  - July 30 at 2:00 p.m.; procession - July 31 at 7:00 p.m.; and "Libre Bautismo" - July 31 at 11:00 a.m..
