Lobregat turns over P4M Barangay hall in Sinubong

Mayor Celso Lobregat led yesterday the turn over ceremonies of a newly completed Barangay hall in Barangay Sinubong, west of this city.

In an interview, Lobregat said this is the program of the administration for the barangay officials to serve their constituents and the people of Zamboanga.

The construction started last May 5, 2012, with 150 calendared days for the project completion at a cost of P4,187,240.09.

GAM Construction of Zamboanga Hermosa Contractors Association (GCZHCA) handled the construction.

"This progress is not only concentrated in the city proper but in the entire 98 barangays," Lobregat told a crowd of barangay officials and residents in the area.

Sinubong barangay officials headed by chairman Rolando Soler thanked and lauded the city government for the unending support not only in barangay Sinubong but also to all sectors in the city.

Barangay Sinubong is one of the the city government's beneficiaries for the new covered court, schools, health center, vehicles and other sites of development in the area.

Recently, the city government also turned over newly constructed barangay hall in Putik and other barangay halls, which are being constructed in Labuan, Limpapa, Patalon, Talisayan and Tulungatung.

The blessing ceremonies were officiated by Rev. Fr. Jake Bacolod who was accompanied by Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde, Councilors Gerky Valesco, Nonong Guingona, Rudy Lim, Jimmy Cabato, Noning Biel, City Engr. Luis Despalo, Department heads, other officials and residents from nearby barangays.
