PDFPrintE-mail

Fuerza Zamboanga, a multi sectoral group composed of  professionals, businessmen, employees, teachers and ordinary people, solidifies its support to Congressman Erbie A. Fabian's bid for the mayoralty post.

Fuerza Zamboanga is the same group that has been silently coordinating and working with Fabian in his several endeavors, including the various sport events like boxing and basketball.

In a press statement issued yesterday, Fuerza leaders said they are firmly behind Rep. Fabian's next political plan because he has already proven himself as a leader and achiever as councilor, vice mayor, mayor for six months and congressman for three terms.

"Congressman Fabian's unblemished record and impeccable performance as councilor, vice mayor, mayor and congressman makes him the choice of Fuerza Zamboanga. Zamboangueños deserve a leader like Fabian who has the integrity, guts and experience in government service," said the press statement.

The group explained that Fabian has the guts which many people admire because he has declared to make the peace and order problem his number concern and priority if elected mayor in the 2013 midterm elections.

Fabian had earlier announced that he has already consulted Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on the latter's formula and approach in ridding Davao City of criminals and making it a haven for investors and tourists.

"Duterte's formula is doable and applicable in Zamboanga City," Fabian was quoted as saying.

Fuerza Zamboanga added that another quality of Fabian is his willingness to share responsibilities with other officials within the city government and his declaration that he will consult with other sectors of the society in all vital decision making while sitting
as a mayor.

In addition, Fabian has vowed to make his administration transparent in all transactions.

Mario, read your comments again.. you sound like an adviser to Erbie. You're commenting like he is following your "proposed platform". Your comments sounds like you are talking to him, not the readers of Zambo Today that's why I commented 'why would Erbie listen to you'!

Its logical and vital for him to be transparent with the people in how he accumulated vast amount of properties worth millions of pesos before talking about practicing transparency in all his transactions if elected mayor of the city. We applaud the Aquino administration for running after corrupt government officials.......... COA then the ombudsman..... Have a pleasant evening ms. Curry.

Ms. Curry, you said that all my comments are nothing new and are known to many, including the fact that mr. Mr. Fabian, accumulated questionable vast amount of properties worth millions of pesos for which he is currently under investigation by the commission of audit, right? Knowing this fact, why don't you yourself file a case on the ombudsman against favian or any government officials for that matter that you consider to be corrupt? In my view, it's not vital to file a case against Mr. Favian, at this juncture because governmental agency concerned like the COA are doing it's job to run after potential corrupt government officials. Basically, government officials who started his political carreer with a penny in his pocket and while on the process of serving it's constituent accumulated questional vast amount of properties worth millions of pesos. That's why it's vital for him to be transparent with people in how he accumulated vast amount of wealth. .... Continue

" I see that you are following my proposed campaigned promise " Ha..ha..ha...Mario, are you smoking shabu when you type your comments? Why would Mr. Fabian or any elected official listen to you? All your comments are nothing new and are known to many. If you really want to help Zamboanga, why don't you yourself file graft and corruption with the ombudsman against corrupt elected officials in our city. Talk is cheap, we want action.. unless of course all you have are hearsay... no facts to back up your allegations!

Mr. Fabian, I see that you are following my proposed campaigned promise if elected mayor of the city, that is to practice total transparency, ( see mario's previous comment entitled campaigned promise ). But, the deal is, before pursuing my proposed campaigned platform, you need to clear yourself wit the COA which you are currently, under investigation for possible graft and corruption. So, that you will not be perceived as no good politician practicing double standard of morality it's imperative that you need to be transparent with the people and the commesion of audit in how you accumulated questional properties worth millions of pesos. It's kind of unthinkable to acquire vast properties worth millions of pesos for a mere congressman who's salary is less than 100,0000 pesos a month. Did you hit the lottory jackpot? Good with your investigation by the COA.
