As the political season continuous to heat up, Councilor Abdurahman Nuño the other day stressed the need for Jomar Lobregat and his wife Councilor Lilia Nuño to unite and find a win-win solution to their plan of seeking the same congressional post in the forthcoming 2013 midterm elections.

“I am not worried on how to let Mrs. Nuño win, I am worried on how they can be united. Because if they cannot be united, then somebody will fall,” the wily politician  said.

Nuño said the party should find a better solution to this dilemma as this is going to be a drawback among partymates if they cannot decide this early.

Recalled, Jomar, younger brother of Mayor Celso Lobregat, has announced his intention to run for the congressional seat in District 2 since Congressman Erbie Fabian is now on his last term.

He said for many years he has supported the LDP and its candidates and it is about time they give him the chance to serve the people of Zamboanga City.

Councilor Nuño, on the other hand, declared her intention to run for congress in District 2 in the coming elections.

The alderwoman said Jomar is the president of Adelante Zamboanga and is not a member of the Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP).

Political analysts surmised if the mayor will insist Jomar to run for congress under their party, Lilia will run with Congressman Fabian who is aspiring to run for the mayoral seat in the coming elections.
