OCD gets items for disaster preparedness

The Office of Civil Defense IX (OCD) revealed that several non-food items has arrived at their office in preparation for any disaster that may hit the Region.
OCD IX Regional Director Adriano Fuego said “We have non-food items in our bodega for Region IX. If there is disaster, we can tap these non-food items for the victims”
The non-food item according to Fuego arrived in March. These items include toiletries, beddings, tents, and others. All of the items came from the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management, OCD Manila.
Fuego said, “Nag stock filing kami so in case of disaster, hindi na kami hihingi sa central office. Right here in the region we have stocks for disaster.”
