2 suspected thieves arrested in Bolong

Two suspected thieves were arrested for stealing meters of drop wire of Subasa Piggery Farm Incorporation in Barangay Bolong, this city, Thursday.
Sr. Inspector Noel Lozano, Sangali Police Station commander, identified the suspects as Edmond Cordova, 24, a resident of Sitio Mangga, Bolong; and Dominick Jhon Gaco, 20, of Barangay Bunguaio.
Investigators said the two were involved in the robbery incident at Sitio Mangga, Barangay Bolong.
According to Lozano, the suspects were positively indentified by a witness allegedly attempting to sell him the stolen.
Cordova and Gaca were identified by Jesus Reyes, whom they offer to sell the meters of drop wire stolen from a piggery farm in Bolong.
Police said Reyes refused to buy the item and instead reported it to Sangali Police Station.
Responding to the report, police operatives conducted an operation resulting to the suspects' arrest.
A case for qualified theft was filed against the suspects at the city prosecutor’s office docketed under NPS number IX-06-INV-12E-00226.
Both suspects avail of the 15-day waiver for preliminary investigation and are presently detained at the said police station.
