A grand year-end Muslim Wedding

Two children of prominent Muslim families were united in marriage at 1:00 in the after noon on the 30th of December 2012 at ASTORIA REGENCY in uptown Pasonanca.

The Sharia’h wedding ceremony officiated by AL USTADZ EDRIS LIM, Al Haj and witnessed by Hon. ZIAHUR-RAHMAN ALONTO-ADIONG, Hon. KHADAFE G. MANGUDADATU, Hon. SAMIER TAN, Hon. JUNI K. ILIMIN, Dr. JOSE BRUNO T. GALVEZ, Mr. KHALID H. ABBAS, Mr.SAGGA M. HARUN and Mr. HARUN M. JOE had all the trimmings in accordance to native tradition.

DR. FAHDA RAIZA, the radiant bride wore a fabulous wedding gown made of yards and yards of ruffles in three tones- Champagne, Mocca and Cream accentuated and decorated with Crystals and cut beads designed by Fashion Designer ANGKING FRANCISCO while the groom NURJAY was in coat and tie. FD ANGKING FRANCISCO also designed the gowns of the female members of the entourage as well as that of the male members.

ASTORIA REGENCY Convention Center where the ceremony and the reception was held was arranged with tall white columns that bore bases of colorful flowers. Colorful cloth panels that formed a canopy is matched with small and big chandeliers. The SAHIL- HADJI wedding occupied the whole ASTORIA REGENCY complex to include the swimming pool where the newlywed held another party this time for their batchmates.

But the touching moment of the wedding celebration was when the groom NURJAY delivered his pledge of love for the bride as he said “The dowry that I gave you was not the real dowry. The real dowry lies here in my heart.”

this is supposed to be a traditional muslim wedding but its not because the bride is wearing a gown thats what catholic brides wear they have a wedding cake and entourage all copied from catholic wedding. why dont you keep your own tradition its unique. dont imitate the christians... :-)
