My grade school best friend at the Santa Maria Elementary School SUSAN GUEVARRA marked her entry to the Senior Citizen League when she turned 60 years old last April 7, 2016.

SUSAN and your Columnist has been classmates since Grade 1 up to Grade 6 and has always been the favorite of our teachers when it come to program presentations. SUSAN who plays the Guitar so well would always be paired with me as her singer.  SUSAN ‘s mom the late ALFONSA GUEVARRA became our teacher too and her sisters ROSE and MILA are my sister’s friends. And  that brings us closer as best friends.

In thanksgiving to God for the many blessings He showered to SUSAN, a birthday dinner celebration was held at the elegant ASTORIA TOWER II of the ASTORIA Group of Companies.
