ANAWIN the Concert

Pope FRANCIS , in his Lenten Message 2014 offered some helpful thoughts on out path of conversion as individuals and community, quoting the words inspired by St. PAUL : “ For you know the grace of out Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rish (2 Cor 8:9). ” The Apostle was writing  to the Christians of Corinth to encourage them to be generous in helping the faithful of Jerusalem who were in need. As Pope Francis offered these beautiful insights, he too offered a challenge : What does this invitation to poverty, a life of evangelical poverty mean for us today.

In view of this above challenge, the Archdiocese of Zamboanga will stage a concert dubbed as “ANAWIN” the CONCERT on February 7, 2015 Saturday, 7:00 in the evening at the Zamboanga City Coliseum , Tetuan, this city. It aims to raise awareness among the faithful of the on-going celebration of the Year of the Poor/Reglious through songs and dances, to raise funds for the Apostolates of the Archdiocese that renders service to the poor and for the wellness program of the Archdiocese.
