MANILA, Aug. 7 (PNA) – A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvocs) said Tuesday.
In its initial bulletin, Philvocs said the earthquake's epicenter was traced at 13.86°N, 119.74°E - 42 km N 89° W of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.
The quake of tectonic origin was recorded at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday and expected to have aftershocks.
No casualties and damages to properties so far reported.
Philvocs also reported that an intensity II earthquake was also recorded in Pasay City and Clark Pampanga while Intensity I in Quezon City. (PNA)
