I was invited to the birthday celebration of the Mrs. ARACELI “CELI” RUSTE-LIM wife of former Vice Mayor and former Department of Agriculture Director ROBERTO “BERT” LIM last Friday, May 4, 2012.

The birthday bash held a day after her actual natal day  at the A Taste of Asia (ATOA) Restaurant along Veterans Extension and was actually tendered by her husband BERT and children MANUEL who is fondly called “NONONG” who is connected with Philippine Airlines, REYNALDO nicknamed “REY” a contractor, City Councilor RODOLFO “RUDY” LIM and only daughter, the lovely VICTORIA “VICKY” L. REYES a businesswoman now based in Davao City.

The honoree Ma’am CELY is a retired public school teacher who keeps herself busy by teaching young children catechism at the Saint Anthony Claret Parish Church. She is also a good ballroom dancer and is a woman with happy disposition.

Seen during the birthday celebration were the honoree’s classmates (high school batch 50) Engr. ELEUCADIO “CADING” and SANTA RUSTE, Dr. ANNALISSA “ICHENG” RUSTE- CHAN and children ALEXANDRA and ALEXANDRO, ALLEN RUSTE, ROWELL RUSTE and children AIRA, BIBOY and ARKIEL; DR. ROSE FERNANDEZ LIM and children NICOLE who is taking Medicine in Manila, VIN VIN MARK,  ROBBIE JOHN and ANDREW; ALAN REYES, VICKY’s husband and only child ROCIELA THERESE “ CHENG CHENG” REYES, MYLA FERNANDEZ, CHRISTINE LIM, Hon Congresswoman BENG CLIMACO-SALAZAR, former City Treasurer Mr. and Mrs. EDGARDO FRANCISCO, the sisters of the celebrator AMELIA, PILARING and PACITA, Atty GIL and EVELYN LIM, Mr. JOMAR LOBREGAT, former Vice Mayor  and former City Engineer NONIE ARAÑEZ, Mr. FEDERICO RODRIQUEZ, the FERNANDEZ family.

A Rosary from ROME which ALAN and VICKY LIM-REYES brought from their trip to Holy Land was given to all the guests who came and celebrated another milestones in the life of Mrs. CELI LIM.
