It has always been a themed party for RUMYR JOSEPH ANGELES, only son of Prof. RUBEN and Dr. MYRNA PALAHUDDIN-ANGLES. Last year’s, theme was PIRATES of the Sulu Sea. Last Tuesday, May 1 (Labor Day) when RUMYR celebrated his 9th birthday, the theme was Animae and the birthday boy RUMYR JOSEPH personified UZUMAKI NARUTO, son of the fourth Hokage (Fire Shadow belonging  to team 7) while his parents RUBEN and DR. MYRNA acted as MINATO KAZEMIA and UZUMAKI USHINA, parents of NARUTO.

The grand celebration of NARUTO (RUMYR JOSEPH) on his quest to bring peace in the Ninja world was held at ASTORIA PLAZA of GRAND ASTORIA HOTEL.

Friends and cousins of RUMYR who acted as UCHIHA SASUKE, HARUNO SAKURA, Leader KAKASHI HATAKE (his original team mates) as well as other animae characters and her aunts, uncles, friends of his parent came in full force to help him make his 9th birthday a memorable one.

As always the birthday bash was full of fun as games with equivalent prizes was held and was participated by every kids present. Loads of birthday giveaways like a personalized mug, loot bags full of candies, biscuits, curls, animae toys, necklace of full metal alchemist, Kunai (throwing knife), Shinobi forehead protector and  DOMO DOMO coin purse.

The doting mom Dr. MYRNA who has the ability to plan theme parties was hands-on in the preparation of the grand party including the video presentation of RUMYR’s school activities and out of the country travels. She was ably assisted by his loving better half Prof RUBEN who just arrived from a week-long study grant in Hongkong.

Seen at the celebration were ma’am MILA MEMORACION and her grand children, Red Cross Administrator VIC LIOZO, JR wife MELINDA, their children and grand children, Dr. MAY GONZALES and her grand daughter, ZCHS Principal Mrs. FELY MUNAR, her husband and son, Prof. RUBEN’s classmates JING EUSTAQUIO, EMIR ESPAÑO, ROEL and JANE RAMOS and son ERWIN ROEL, Dr. TERESITA CHIONG and lots of other guests.
