It’s two in a row for DR. FELIXBERTO C. LABASTILLA, NSTP Head of Western Mindanao State University. After having been appointed as Member of the Board of Directors for Region IX of the Philippine Society of NSTP Educators and Implementers (PSNEI) DR. LABASTILLAS now sits as Vice President for Mindanao of the Pambansang Samahan ng mga Tagapamasid at Tagapagtaguyod sa Filipino (PASATAF) for year 2012-2014 after he won the election conducted last April 27, 2012  The conduct of election was supervised by former President DR. MARLENE C. TILLAH and Kgg. JOSE LADERAS SANTOS, head Commissioner of the Commission of Filipino Language.

The PASATAF Officers for 2012-2014 are the following: Dr. CARMELITA C. ABDURAHAN, president; Dr. RAMON DE LEON, vice president ; Dr. JESUS B. VALENCIA, JR., vice president for Luzon; Dr. ROMEO T. ESPEDION, vice president for Visayas, Dr. FELIXBERTO “BERT” LABASATILL, vice president for Mindanao; Dr. GODFREY G. MONTERA, secretary; Dr. CORAZON G. GENOBILI, treasurer; Hadji MOHAMMAD AMIN A. AUKASA, auditor; Dr. ELPIDIA B. BERGADO, PIO; while the Directors are the following: LUISITO V. LABATIQUE for Region I, YOLANDA V. SERAD for Region IV-B; LUZ R. PRADES for Region V; FELICITAS G. REYES for Region X VIOLA S. ESPARAGOZ for Region XI and JOSEVIC F. HURTADA for Region XIII. The over-all Adviser is Dr. JOSE LADERAS SANTOS, KWF Head Commissioner.

In a congratulatory letter send to DR. LABASTILLAS, WMSU President DR. MILABEL ENRIQUEZ-HO said “ It is with great pride and deep joy that I congratulate you for having been elected Vice President (Mindanao) f the PASATAF. May you continue to work with dynamism towards excellence even at PASATAF and bring honor to the University. I assure you, you have this administration’s support.”
