The Zamboanga Press Club, Inc. (ZPCI) held its Annual Assembly and election of officers at the Lotus restaurant of Grand Astoria hotel last June 9, 2012.

The annual assembly highlighted the election of officers with the registration of 92 active members of the local tri-media, President and Financial reports.

The newly elected officers of ZPCI for calendar year 2012-2013 are Philip Abuy (RPN-5-DXXX), President; Richard Falcatan (RMN), Executive Vice President; Monch L. Follosco (Zamboanga Today), Vice President for Print; Nonong Santiago (Zamboanga Today/GMA), Vice President for TV; Elsie Molina (Radyo Ng Bayan), Vice President for Radio; Ma. Ester Doroteo (RPN-5/DXXX); Treasurer, Jayvee Francisco (DXVP/GMA); Hermie Ventura (RMN), Auditor; Board Chairman Bong Garcia and the members of the Board of Directors are Hader Glang (Zamboanga Today), Eugene Lasprilla (Zamboanga Today), Jimmy Villaflores (RMN/DZT), Joey Bautista, Paul Reales (ABS-CBN), and Victor Campaner (RPN-5/DXXX) with the Committee on Election (COMELEC) headed by Danny Macansantos as chairman.

The induction of officers will be decided to a later date with a possibility of inviting national figures as guest of honor.
