It was in the 50’s that NORMA JEANE MORTENSEN BAKER professionally recognized as MARILYN MONROE, an American actress, model and singer, who became a major sex symbol made waves in the International scene that’s why when Dr. MYRNA PALAHUDDIN –ANGELES turned 56, her nieces and cousins who tendered a birthday bash in her honor urged her to personify MARILYN MONROE, the sixth greatest female star of all time by the American Film Institute.

So DR. MYRNA put on a body hugging deep neckline  white dress, sported a blonde hair and completed the MARILYN MONROE look alike with a mole on the left side of her face. Her loving husband, Prof. RUBEN ANGELES ( one of my best college teacher) who escorted her lovely wife during the celebration sported a leather jacket to look like ARTHUR MILLER, the better half of MARILYN MONROE.

Among the invited guests were MYRNA and RUBEN’s aunts and uncles, relatives and close friends, the ZAEC High School Batch ’73 and those that the organizers of the party (nieces and cousins) know of.

A slide presentation of the birthday celebrator’s travel and activities, fun games and a hearty dinner plus endless exchange of pleasantries among the invited guests made up an very live evening and celebration.

Birthday greetings to MAE CELINE RAMOS-ALVIAR, PATTI MAE ENRIQUEZ and JERIME BARO. Wedding anniversary greetings to couples Engr. BONG and Engr. CORY REYES, JAYTON and MONET LORRAINE FIDEL LUNA.
